Japan Post has resumes the registered airmail for US, Canada, UK and Germany, as of October 1st, 2023
It was April, 2020 when Japan Post has suspended the registered airmail to US.
3 years and 6 months ago.
Japan Post has increased the registered airmail fee a lot and it is a pain, but I am still glad to be able to ship to these 4 countries by registered airmail again!
Now customers can select the shipping method, standard shipping (=Registered airmail) or Express Mail Service (EMS) at the checkout.
Registered airmail usually takes 2-4 weeks for most of the destination.
As to EMS, it takes about a week.
But it all depends on the import customs, so it may take more than expected delivery time.
As to Germany, Sweet Birdie Boutique has the license for package law, but still their import customs are very strict, so it may take a while.
If it takes too long, please let me know. I can submit the official inquiry to Japan Post. But if the shipment is held at the import customs, we just have to wait until it is released, though.
