U.S. Shipping DDP FedEx - No additonal charge upon delivery

Why we currently use FedEx for U.S. orders

  • At this time, Japan Post services are unavailable for shipments to the United States.
    For this reason, all U.S. orders are currently shipped via FedEx.
  • We use DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping.
  • No additional charges will be required upon delivery.
  • Please note that this shipping arrangement is temporary and may change if Japan Post services resume in the future.

 

About customs-related fees

  • When shipping with FedEx, customs clearance fees may apply depending on the contents of your order.
  • Some fees are included in the shipping and product prices, while the FedEx customs processing fee appears separately in the cart.

 

FedEx Customs Processing Fee (by Product Type)

  • FedEx requires customs processing fees to be applied by product category.
    If a shipment contains multiple product categories, each product category must be declared separately, which results in an additional customs processing fee.
  • This fee is charged per product category, not per item.
  • Multiple items within the same product category are treated as a single category for customs processing.
  • The fee will appear in your cart as:
    “FedEx Customs Processing Fee (Product Type)”
  • The first 3 product categories are free. Only categories after the first 3 will be charged. Any fee charged for the first 3 categories will be refunded after your order is placed. (Updated 13th of March, 2026)

 

How to reduce customs processing fees

To help keep these fees as low as possible, we recommend:

  • Purchasing multiple items within the same product category.
  • Avoid combining too many different product categories in one order when possible.

Orders containing a wide variety of product categories may incur higher total processing fees.

We understand this may influence how you shop, and we appreciate your understanding.

 

U.S. Import Duties

  • Pricing in our U.S. market reflects overall import-related costs associated with shipping to the United States, including applicable import duties and related compliance expenses.
  • We ship under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms, which means FedEx remits applicable import charges to U.S. Customs on your behalf.
    You will not be asked to pay additional import duties upon delivery when ordering through our U.S. market.
  • Please note: Import duties, customs regulations, and trade policies are determined by U.S. authorities and may change without prior notice. U.S. market pricing is established based on overall import conditions at the time of sale and may be adjusted as necessary.
  • Because regulatory decisions and customs assessments are outside of our control, pricing differences resulting from government policy changes do not qualify for refunds, reimbursements, or post-purchase adjustments once an order has been completed. Final customs classification and fee assessments are determined by U.S. Customs and FedEx at the time of import and may differ from preliminary estimates shown at checkout. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Customers shipping to a U.S. address are responsible for ensuring they are ordering through our U.S. market.
